Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Technical Sales Engineer to extend our dynamic team. This role is crucial in shaping the sales journey by expertly understanding and advocating the technical merits and bespoke architecture of our solutions. You will work in collaboration with the sales team to craft and propose tailored workflow solutions, thereby directly influencing potential clients and contributing to their success. This challenging position demands frequent interaction with our engineering and product development teams to deliver cutting-edge PACS solutions tailored to unique client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Consultation: Serve as a principal technical advisor, offering deep insights into Intelerad solutions during the sales discourse.
  • Discovery Process: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to understand client workflows and design solutions that integrate flawlessly with their operations.
  • Solution Architecture: Develop and present solutions that not only meet client requirements but are also cohesive with their existing systems.
  • Executive Communication: Strategically communicate with health system executives, translating complex technical details into substantial business value.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with the sales team and contribute to the proposal development process, ensuring all technical aspects are addressed and optimized.
  • Feedback Loop: Bridge communication between customers and internal teams, providing vital feedback to refine product features and functionality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in roles such as Sales Engineer within the healthcare technology domain, or direct involvement as an IT/PACS Director.
  • Demonstrable understanding of medical imaging processes and standards (DICOM, HL7).
  • Skills in designing complex networks and systems, especially in healthcare settings, including familiarity with PACS, cloud computing, and virtualization.
  • Adept at integrating PACS solutions into varied IT environments and knowledgeable about cybersecurity and business continuity within healthcare.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of condensing technical jargon for diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record in sales of complex technological solutions, with a preference for experience in PACS and imaging fields like Cardiology or Cardiovascular.
