Job Description
At Blend360, we empower our clients with the data, insights, and innovations necessary to optimize their Supply Chain Strategy. We are in search of a seasoned Data Scientist to advance the Supply Chain Organization and deliver impactful solutions addressing our clients' most significant challenges.

Responsibilities

• Advance the internal capabilities for Data Science within the supply chain, focusing on AI and Machine Learning.
• Develop domain-specific knowledge of supply chain challenges by collaborating with stakeholders to identify key business problems.
• Manage direct reports by providing ethical and motivational leadership, fostering their talent and skills while achieving results.
• Oversee analyst project work, career planning, and performance, and provide constructive feedback with the support of senior management.
• Recruit, interview, and train new employees.
• Analyze team KPIs, develop solutions, and propose alternative methods to achieve goals.
• Build positive and productive client relationships for business growth.
• Understand client needs and customize business processes accordingly.
• Address client concerns promptly and manage requests professionally.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to support client needs as a strategic partner.
• Work with practice leaders to translate business problems into actionable Data Science solutions, proposing different approaches.
• Develop comprehensive project plans detailing milestones, dates, owners, risks, and contingency plans.
• Create and maintain efficient data pipelines using SQL, Spark, and Cloud technologies, often within clients’ architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets from various sources to meet functional requirements.
• Build analytics tools to deliver actionable insights on customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and business performance metrics.
• Perform data cleaning, quality control, and integration from both internal and external data sources on Advanced Data Science Platforms.
• Conduct statistical analysis, data mining, and document key insights for decision-making.
• Train, validate, and cross-validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Document predictive models and machine learning results for client deliverables.
• Assist clients in deploying models and algorithms within their architecture.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Statistics, Math, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Advanced Supply Chain Data Science.
• Proficient in at least one Advanced Data Science software language: R, Python, Scala, or SAS.
• Proven ability to deploy machine learning models from research (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks) to production.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and knowledge of databases such as Hadoop/Hive.
• Familiarity with Spark and data-frames in PySpark or Scala.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to pivot complex data for business insights.
• Proficient in cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Optimizely is a plus.
