Job Description: UX Engineer
We are on the lookout for a talented UX Engineer to join our expanding design team. You will work closely with simulation engineers, data scientists, and customers, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges we address. Your role will be crucial in developing solutions that enhance the user experience for our Python-based frameworks and other technical applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with simulation engineers, data scientists, and customers to understand complex user needs.
- Support the development of AI and ML solutions for mechanical engineering applications.
- Translate complex concepts into intuitive and engaging developer experiences.
- Aid product engineers in creating user-friendly coding interfaces for Python-based frameworks.
- Design for developer-focused users in enterprise contexts, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
- Stay current with the latest UX trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2-3 years of UX design experience, ideally in a technical or enterprise context.
- Strong understanding of developer workflows and experience with developer tools like command-line interfaces.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, FigJam, Click, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience designing for expert users (e.g., Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers) in enterprise settings is a plus.
- Experience with data science/machine learning tools like Jupyter Notebooks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, or Arduino is a plus.
