Job Description:
The Vendor MDM Analyst will manage supplier master data creation, updates, blocks, holds, reactivations, process improvement, and maintenance within relevant ERP systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
What You Will Do:
- Act as a transactional SME executing setups, maintenance, analysis of critical bank information, legal documentation, and correct classification of payment terms, methods, QMS, Non-QMs, and Commercial suppliers.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly support and documentation to internal controls teams for all SOX controls and assist in any internal or external audit meetings.
- Maintain corporate vendor master databases, ensuring vendor information within ERP systems meets corporate and IRS requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-divisional business units and teams to troubleshoot and resolve Vendor Master Data issues.
- Identify and communicate issues and risks related to Supplier Master Data that could adversely impact the business.
- Engage with cross-functional areas that require payment release, such as Corporate, Finance, Compliance, Supplier Controls, Purchasing, Sourcing, and AR.
- Utilize available databases and ERPs (19 systems) for the 23 divisions supported.
- Validate critical information through detailed data analysis and direct communication with suppliers regarding bank changes.
- Operate with minimal supervision, maintaining policies and procedures, and responding to inquiries.
- Create documentation, job aids, and videos to support necessary processes.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Support stakeholder SLAs and work to provide KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IS, or a related discipline.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; other languages are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs; experience with Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Reporting and Power BI is preferred.
- ERP systems experience (e.g., SAP, MDG, Oracle, JD Edwards, AS400).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and maintain accurate, detailed records.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a multinational business in a finance-related function (e.g., collections, customer service, technical support, accounts payable, accounting).
- Experience in a shared service center within a global organization is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel (20% travel required).
