Job Description

As the Web Data Analyst in our digital analytics team, you’ll report directly to the Web Analytics Supervisor, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our data analytics tools. Your role will range from addressing specific online marketing queries and generating insightful reports to collecting, processing, interpreting, and analyzing data. Additionally, you’ll serve as a vigilant guardian against any disruptions in the data analysis process.

Responsibilities:

Analytics Reporting:

• Analyze and monitor website performance to aid decision making for improved business outcomes and superior customer experience
• Collect, interpret, and analyze product sales data to reveal opportunities and improve web merchandising and product assortment
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for key stakeholders accurately and promptly
• Support other functions through Ad Hoc analysis

Tool Development and Maintenance:

• Manage and maintain essential analytics tools, including Google Analytics, PowerBI, and Excel models

Internal Systems and Processes:

• Accountable for specific short-term projects and areas of responsibility, ensuring high-quality results
• Maintain and propose improvements for various analytics systems and processes
• Assist the team in documenting systems and processes

Career Development:

• Adapt and develop skills to accommodate newly introduced advanced solutions
• Support and mentor less experienced team members

Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or other similar quantitative course.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in performing maintenance and routine operations of analytics tools, handling specific online marketing requests, and developing insightful reports
• Must be highly skilled in collecting, processing, interpreting, and analyzing data, and adept at solving issues that may affect the data analysis process
• Skills in SQL, Big Query, RegEx, or Python (at least one)
• Experience using Google Analytics and a general understanding of the eCommerce retail environment
• Familiarity with Office 365 suite (Excel, SharePoint, PowerBI)

Location: Our corporate offices are located in Northern California with a Regional Operating Headquarters (ROHQ) in the Philippines. Company executives visit the Philippines regularly, so team members attend in-person meetings from time to time. The Web Data Analyst role allows for remote work under Balsam International Unlimited Philippine ROHQ in Manila. Team members in the Philippines are located within Metro Manila, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Rizal, and Tarlac.

Essential requirements:

• Willingness to attend occasional in-person meetings subject to the status of the pandemic.
• A back-up laptop or desktop for use, should the primary laptop encounter issues
• A speedy, reliable DSL, Fiber, or Broadband connection (not mobile or broadband stick) as the principal internet connection with a minimum actual speed of 10MBPS
• A back-up internet connection of the same speed, should the primary connection become unreliable

Status: This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
