We are looking for a skilled and dynamic data & reporting visualization specialist to join our Global Business Intelligence team and contribute to continuous success. This role is key to collaborating with stakeholders across our commercial organization to identify needs and opportunities to transform data into actionable and insightful ways. You are a Tableau Visualization Guru who can revolutionize how leadership makes decisions by creating, managing, and designing Tableau dashboards and reports, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business requirements and opportunities, and creating data visualizations that animate insights. This role's primary aspect is the capacity to organize data into intuitive storytelling narratives that speed up and extend users’ decision-making time. -Tableau Proficiency: Extremely strong expertise in Tableau software, including knowledge of its features, functionalities, and capabilities. This includes understanding how to use Tableau's design tools and options to create visually appealing dashboards and how and when to use Tableau Prep. -Data Visualization Best Practices: Deep understanding of data visualization best practices specific to Tableau. This includes selecting appropriate chart types, effectively using color palettes, creating clear and concise labels, and incorporating data-driven design choices. -Dashboard Layout and Composition: Proficiency in designing visually balanced and aesthetically pleasing dashboard layouts. This involves organizing and arranging visual elements, containers, and legends to create a cohesive and user-friendly interface. -Visual Hierarchy and Emphasis: The ability to establish a clear visual hierarchy within Tableau dashboards. This involves using size, color, and placement to guide the viewer's attention and highlight key insights. -Interactivity and User Experience (UX): Understanding how to design interactive elements in Tableau dashboards that enhance the user experience. This includes using filters, parameters, tooltips, and interactivity to enable executives to explore and interact with the data. -Storytelling through Dashboards: The ability to create a narrative and tell a story using Tableau dashboards. This includes structuring the dashboard to guide executives through the data insights and using annotations, captions, and annotations to provide context and key takeaways. -Performing all other duties as assigned. Requirements -A Bachelor’s degree in an accredited field or equivalent experience -Progressive, hands-on experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting within operations, sales, and/or marketing -At least five years of continuous, focused experience in the designing, building, customizing, and publishing Tableau interactive reports, visualizations, and dashboards -Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building successful partnerships with business and technical groups -Working proficiency with complex data from multiple data sources and building dashboards -Demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures -Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment -Ability to take on new challenges creatively, be proactive and work outside their comfort zone -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with non-technical users -Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment -Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage -Intermediate proficiency in SQL is a plus -Tableau certifications are a plus Travel: 0-10% Location: Remote Benefits -Health and prescription drug benefits -Health savings accounts or flexible spending accounts -Dental plans and vision benefits -Basic life and AD&D Benefits -401k retirement plan -Short- and Long-Term Disability -Education benefits -Paid parental leave -Open Vacation Policy The expected base for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000. It is unusual for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
