About the Consumer Group

The Consumer Group, as the name suggests, is tasked with building and improving Wolt's consumer-facing products. The primary objective is to perfect the user experience while scaling up the platform to provide a virtual shopping mall in your pocket.

About the Marketing Analytics Team

Marketing Analytics is a newly formed department collaborating with the marketing and growth organization to make effective marketing decisions. This includes optimizing our marketing mix through attribution, MMM, and Experimentation, enabling efficient measurement of various marketing initiatives, establishing the best experimentation practices, and cooperating with the marketing team to pinpoint areas for enhancement and growth. Being a nascent team, there are plenty of intriguing complexities and opportunities for business impact. The team cooperates closely with user acquisition, engagement, brand performance, growth, and martech teams to facilitate data-driven decision making.

The team is hiring for multiple roles including CRM Data Scientist and Marketing Analytics Data Scientist.

About the Consumer Data Science Team

The Marketing Analytics is part of the Consumer Analytics team, which includes a mixed group of Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers. We work extensively with the Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams to ensure we have the right platform to deliver our insights at scale. We collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Strategy & Operations teams to guide measurement and operational decision making using advanced analytics as we broaden the Wolt platform worldwide.

About the Role

As a Data Scientist at Wolt, your job entails delving into our data to tackle key business challenges. This role involves identifying problem areas, proposing solutions, designing experiments, and ultimately influencing decision-making. It is a unique, operational, and actionable data-driven role that requires an effective combination of technical and stakeholder engagement skills. As a part of this team, you will be leading action from the frontlines, rather than just occupying another analytics or data science role. Wolt's Data Scientists are responsible for delivering business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a similar field.

• 4+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics or a data science role.

• Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, experimenting using statistical software packages in Python, R, or similar.

• Proficiency in writing organized and efficient SQL queries for extensive datasets.

• Experience in creating intuitive data visualizations and dashboards that influence business decisions, using platforms like Looker, Tableau, Mixpanel, or similar.

• Tenacious approach in exploring new ideas and data sources, and the ability to systematically address ambiguous problems through a data-driven, hypothesis-based method.

• For a CRM Data Scientist, previous experience in CRM analytics would be a significant advantage.
