Visa Managed Services (VMS) is the delivery arm of the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team. We leverage our expertise in strategy, consulting, data analytics, and industry experience to develop and implement data-driven recommendations to enhance client performance. The VMS team excels in sourcing the right talent for our clients to drive change.
About Your Role
Working directly at the client’s office, you will thrive in a cooperative team with experts from product, analytics, and marketing divisions. Collectively, you will develop a roadmap of strategic activities, prioritize issues, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver results for the client.
You will partner closely with the Data Science team to design, implement, and manage models in areas such as predictive modeling, churn modeling, customer segmentation, time series, and natural language. In this role, you will influence and contribute to data science evaluation and planning, maintaining alignment with our strategic direction for analytics services, tools, and platforms.
About You
Our ideal candidate is a confident problem-solver who excels in data manipulation, has some knowledge of data warehousing, and can synthesize key findings for the business. What You Need to Be Successful:
Understanding of key concepts of statistics and statistical and machine learning techniques.
Experience in creating analytical solutions using statistical or probabilistic decision making.
experience with extracting and aggregating data from large datasets using SQL or other tools
Proficiency in SQL of intermediate to advanced level, complemented by SPARK and HiveQL skills.
Proficiency with analytics programming languages like R and Python with recent hands-on experience is highly preferred
Experience with GitHub and Git Workflow is highly preferred
Experience across major open-source repositories, e.g. CRAN/MRAN or PyPi
Extensive experience in using data-driven analytics to develop dashboards, insights, and recommendations, specifically R / Posit Connect (with experience with Shiny and Markdown packages), or for Python (with experience with Dash or Streamlit or other equivalent packages)
Ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data-driven insights to solve problems
Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data from various sources to identify relationships and patterns. Arriving at logical conclusions, you will identify opportunities for improved customer outcomes and design and develop analytical solutions for our stakeholders.
