Job Description

As a Junior Big Data Developer, your goal will be to partake in the company's Regulatory and Compliance technology team.

The following are areas we need your assistance with:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the company's Regulatory and Compliance technology team as a Junior Big Data Developer.
• Helping in various areas such as:
• Developing business applications (covering the full software life cycle: problem analysis, technical solutions, solution design, development, testing, and production upload).
• Communicating with Users to understand their technological needs and provide strategic solutions.
• Code optimization and analysis: Threat modeling, comprehensive SAST, Sonar.
• Project planning and execution following Agile methodology.
• Managing different internal tools to Document ALM throughout all stages of projects.
• Supporting incidents, including planned interventions.
• Conducting unit, integrated, and regression tests.
• Managing tools to facilitate Realease.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• 2+ years experience as a Big Data Developer
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Required technical knowledge:

• Java/Javascript
• Familiarity with various databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL...)
• Github
• Jenkins
• Drools
• Kafka
• Microservices (Spring Boot) – Openshift
• Experience with Agile methodology and tools: Jira, Confluence,…
• An innovative and strategic mindset to handle various situations

Desirable:

• S3, Elastic, Angular, and Flink
• Business knowledge in the Transactional Regulatory Reporting area.
