As a Power BI Developer at Vattenfall's corporate sales, your focus will be to identify opportunities for improvement and consolidation of our existing reports. In addition, you will take on the development of new reports, automation of manual processes, and ensuring clear requirements against systems used within corporate sales.

At Vattenfall's corporate sales, you become part of a Nordic organization where you, together with colleagues from Sweden, Finland, and Denmark, work to create satisfied employees and customers. Your role as a developer with a focus on data quality and reporting will make you a significant part of our dynamic team within Sales Development & Support. In Sweden, our team is present at several offices; Solna, Umeå, and Trollhättan. About the role
The team's overall long-term goal for reports is to refine our existing reports to a new level by making them self-service. In the short term, we strive to streamline our reporting by you in your role taking over the responsibility for delivering certain reports that different parts of the organization today produce for our customers. After having gained an understanding of the different reporting needs, we want to make a consolidation of similar reports. By combining your development competence and focus on data quality, you will play a decisive role in realizing these goals.

Your tasks as a Power BI Developer

• Take responsibility for and deliver reports that the business continuously needs
• Identify opportunities for improvements and consolidation of our existing reports
• Develop new reports
• Act as sales support around possible reports to the customer
• Develop reports where the level of data quality emerges and is continuously improved
• Ensure clear requirements against systems used within corporate sales
• Automation of manual processes
• Be the competence center for Microsoft Power BI, continuous learning and updating of your knowledge in pace with the platform's development is important

Qualifications

You are careful, responsible, and like taking own initiatives where you see the opportunity for improvement. You have a high communicative ability where you can in a structured way describe processes/flows/events in a way adapted to the recipient. You have the ability to understand and implement the business needs about reporting.

The person we are looking for:

• Previous work experience and a deep understanding of the Power BI platform, its functions, and possibilities. This includes knowing how to create customized visual elements, create interactive reports and establish data connections.
• Understanding the principles of effective data visualization, how to present data in a clear and convincing way using various charts, graphs, and tables.
• SQL knowledge to be able to create and manage SQL queries
• Knowledge of system integrations to be able to configure underlying components, e.g., Azure Databricks
• Data modeling skills to create effective data models, understand relationships between different data tables
• Previous experience in the energy sector is advantageous
• Experience in configuring Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous
• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Knowledge in Finnish is advantageous
• Academic education in a relevant area (advantageous)
