We are seeking an experienced senior data scientist to join the data department in our Tallinn office. Your new adventure: - Collaborate with a team of proficient data personnel to utilize data, draw insights using advanced analytics techniques, and facilitate informed decision-making. - Work with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to develop innovative data science product features. - Brainstorm solution designs with business and Product managers. - Develop sturdy and scalable models that generate precise predictions and actionable insights to support business goals. - Identify quick-win opportunities in the product space, design solutions, bridge the gap between product owners, and offer valuable insights to inform strategic initiatives. - Collaborate with product stakeholders from various departments and teams to comprehend their data needs and develop tailored data science solutions fulfilling their specific requirements. - Assist in defining data science strategies, goals, and best practices within the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. - Contribute to Pipedrive's growth by utilizing data-driven approaches, optimizing processes, and spotting opportunities for innovation and efficiency. Essential qualifications: - Minimum five years of experience in data, preferably in data science and machine learning. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, and SQL. - Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS. - A robust portfolio demonstrating successful data science projects and their impact on business outcomes. - Proven experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling. - Confidence in conducting exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation. - Ability to guide and mentor, instill guidance, and cultivate a team-oriented work environment. - Understanding of the latest advancements in data science, considering data governance, data privacy, and ethical considerations in data science. - Talent for simplifying complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders. - Skilled in storytelling and delivering presentations to effectively convey data-driven insights and recommendations. - Demonstrated can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and openness to feedback. - Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines. - Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting requirements and priorities. - A knack for continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with advancements in data science. - Fluency in English. - Familiarity with the CRM domain is a bonus. - A degree in data science or data analytics is a bonus.
