Job Description

• Design and develop new hardware and innovative solutions on sensor integration and data mining for existing manufacturing equipment.
• Undertake new sensor development and selection for data mining for the industrial internet of things (IIoT) platform.
• Work with the Data Analytics team to integrate and implement large-scale data solutions.
• Responsible for developing software programs, algorithms and automated processes to clean and evaluate huge data sets from multiple sources.
• Continuously improve the acquisition system through software updates or new/improved hardware.
• Document systems and procedures for the setup and maintenance of hardware systems.
• Ensure effective handover processes for new device/product introduction to the line and developments of new process technology capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics/Robotics.
• Experience in equipment development, design, automation, sensor/motor integration for digital data mining, system integration.
• Familiarity with Python, C#, JMP, Minitab, or other data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with microcontroller programming is a plus.
• Preferably with experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Familiarity with programming languages like SQL, Python, C/C++, etc.
• Knowledge in sensors, PLC, motion controller and servo motor would be an added advantage.
• Understanding of assembly equipment and process would be a benefit.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
