Job Description

As an Analyst on the Data Operations team, you'll support the Client Operations team by providing reporting and analytics that help our internal and external clients make better, data-informed decisions. You'll be key to a major Publicis client, responsible for creating end-to-end insights, extracting data, building reports, and collaborating with various teams to enhance established processes. One essential aspect of this role is contributing to bottom-line growth by ensuring operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in relational databases, API data extraction, intermediate programming in analytics software such as Python or R, automating data pipelines, and building visually pleasing, meaningful, and easy-to-understand visualizations using software such as Tableau or PowerBI to effectively convey insights and recommendations to end-users.

A candidate must excel not only in technical knowledge but also in soft skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Client Operations team in addressing reporting and analytic needs.
  • Create reports, analytical solutions, automate data pipelines, and build dashboards.
  • Develop and execute automated processes for standardized reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Manage relational databases to handle, store, process clean data for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to audiences ranging from executives to operational level team members.

Qualifications

What we are looking for!

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Math, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Economics, Finance, or related.
  • A Masters's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or related field is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Data Analytics, proficiency with analytics software and relevant education.

Skills:

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Social Platforms (Facebook / Twitter etc.), Big Data cloud environments, and CRM platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational database constructs.
  • Intermediate experience with programming software (Python / R).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau / PowerBI.
  • Competency with MS Office products, especially Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot).
  • Experience in Alteryx data cleansing/pipelining is a plus.

Experience:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills including data cleansing, structuring, automation, and analysis.
  • Practical application of data science, analytics, and reporting to support data platforms for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to share complex technical results and recommendations effectively to audiences with varying levels of analytic understanding.
  • Experience in analytics and report automation using tools ranging from Alteryx to AWS Tools.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $58,500 - $88,000 annually. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time, following legal obligations. The given amount will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience in relation with the position requirements. Benefits include medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
