We’re looking for a Azure Data Engineer and SQL DBA to work 100% remotely for an American Insurance company.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of both individual contributions and multitasking, and an excellent team player. As a senior developer in the team, you will be responsible for developing new software products and enhancing existing ones. You must have experience working with large-scale applications and frameworks, and possess superb communication skills.
Requirements include: • Minimum of 6+ years of IT Experience, 4+ Years of Experience as DBA and 2+ years of Public Cloud Experience • Strong Experience with Database technologies (SQL/Oracle/RDBMS/Big-Data) • Strong Familiarity with SQL DBA Administration tasks • Familiarity with Azure SQL offerings/Tools like PaaS SQL / SQL MI / DMA-DMS • SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2016) experience on the server and client machines, managing databases • Proficiency in SQL Server Replication technologies (SQL Always On, Mirroring, Log-Shipping, Backup/Recovery and planning • Experience with Server Management Studio, SQL Server Profiler, SQL Server Agent, SQL server configuration etc • Software Development experience using Microsoft technology stack (C# ASP.NET, SQL Server etc…) is a plus • 2+ years of working in an onsite-offshore model • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills • Excellent written skills and familiarity with Architecture tools (Visio/PPT etc..) • Willingness to travel to customer site as needed (25%) • Azure or AWS Solution Architect certification is preferred
