The Analytics Engineer I will provide clean, tested, well-documented and well-modeled data sets, which will enable analysts and business users alike, using tools such as Snowflake and/or Domo. What you can expect to do in this role: - Model and build source datasets that are accurate, reliable and stable. - Work with analysts and SMEs from different business units to ensure that raw data is well interpreted. - Develop and maintain new and existing transformation flows of dbt models and extend the EDM. - Design and implement testing frameworks with an emphasis on data quality. - Work on high-priority projects around the business ensuring that new developments and features are well-captured in data models. - Educate and upskill analysts in the utilization of data models and the interpretation of data definitions. - Create and maintain documentation in the relevant spaces. - Contribute to the Data Catalog, to support self-service and SSOT analytics. - Follow the DataOps framework in the work we do. - Other duties and special projects as assigned. What we are looking for: - Minimum of 2 years of experience with Snowflake or other SQL-based databases (Required). - Minimum of 1 year of experience building reports and dashboards in a data visualization tool such as Domo or Tableau (Required). - Minimum of 1 year of experience building data models using dbt. - Able to communicate complex ideas simply and convincingly. - Able to work independently and as part of a team, in an agile environment. - Detail-oriented, diligent, and methodical in approach. - Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following business areas: marketing, finance, sales, product, customer success, customer support or engineering. - Listens to stakeholder needs and finds a way to deliver well-integrated solutions that serve specific needs. - Able to interact effectively with co-workers to ensure timely delivery of work. - Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees. - Experienced in Scrum or Kanban. - General knowledge of Apple products and SaaS business models.
