From panel and retail measurement to the Connected System platform and our suite of applications, NIQ's Product Leadership identifies market opportunities that define the products our Retail and Manufacturing clients use to make strategic business decisions. This is a remote-based role and the candidate must be located within the US. Job Description As a Product Manager, you will play a central role in setting strategic objectives, deciding where to invest and who to collaborate with to remain competitive. You will work with a team of product, data science, operations, and commercial leaders to develop new products and improve existing ones, ensuring your product meets the evolving needs of clients and the industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to identify and understand customer needs and translate those needs into practical solutions and impact. You should be equally comfortable discussing product details with development teams and understanding client use cases and challenges. You will excel in earning the trust of our top leaders, communicating complex findings clearly, and using data and sound business judgment to guide and influence strategic decisions. Responsibilities - Own the roadmap, strategy, and long-term vision for your product, using the 'voice of the client' and data-driven insights to guide decision-making. Adapt based on new information and stakeholder feedback. - Work with a cross-functional team spanning Operations, Data Science, Communications, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and more to plan, build, and introduce product enhancements. - Bring structure and clarity to vague problems by identifying client needs and working backward to create direction and set milestones for the team to deliver market-leading solutions. - Provide domain expertise on the product and articulate the strategy with internal stakeholders and clients, as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on the product. - Collaborate with program management teams to manage the product backlog, prioritize enhancements, balance value vs. complexity tradeoffs, and manage cross-functional dependencies/risks. - Conduct industry research and competitive analysis, and consider the overall NielsenIQ company strategy when making product decisions. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, data science, or technology. - Experience in B2B product management for highly data-driven products. - Strong background in end-to-end product delivery. - Experience in go-to-market strategies and change management. - Understanding of the feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product. - Proven experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition. - Demonstrated involvement in taking ownership of technology-driven products - Excellent presentation skills and the ability to address diverse audiences in client interactions and engagement. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. - Humble and collaborative approach. - Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university. - Prior experience working for a market intelligence company is a plus.
