Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer Job Locations: Employer allows full-time telecommuting Job Duties: Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability and deployment design and build machine learning models to solve classification, regression including deep learning methods in computer vision and NLP problems. Perform research and develop ML-based solution through iterative experimentation including hyper-parameter tuning. Implement production ready pipelines for ML prediction and training. Perform principal component analysis, re-balancing, outlier detection for large data sets. Optimize prediction performance for existing ML models. Provide feedback pertaining to technical designs, proposals and code. Analyze existing applications and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with and mentor engineers while also conducting code reviews to ensure consistent design patterns are being applied. Job Requirements: Job requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the offered position, Data Scientist or closely related. Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be quantified by time. Required expertise/knowledge includes: • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, scikit-learn) • Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture • In-depth knowledge of mathematics, probability statistics, and algorithms • Ability to write robust code in Python (experience with Go is a plus) • Experience with Random Forest and Gradient Boosting Machines (LightGBM, XGBoost, CatBoost) • Experience building computer vision and image recognition models using Convolutional Neural Network • Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work effectively within a remote team • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies such as: EC2, S3, Lambda, Docker, etc. • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies Full-time: 40 hours/week Salary: $195,000/year Contact: Qualified applicants should email cover letter and resume to: [email protected] Collectors may use e-verify to validate your ability to work legally in the United States.
