Altana's Engineering team is seeking skilled Machine Learning Engineers. As a team member, you will handle large-scale public and proprietary data related to global trade, designing intricate Machine Learning models that provide invaluable insights into the risks and opportunities of supply chains for our clients, and incorporating novel AI into supply chain exploration and analytic processes. Qualified candidates should hold a BS degree in Computer Science or Data Science, have at least 10 years of professional experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer, and have extensive experience with Python Machine Learning tools. In addition, candidates should keep abreast of advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and value engineering excellence, supportability and sharing knowledge. While not compulsorily, having experience in building and tuning language models, familiarity with prompt engineering and chain-of-thought prompting, experience in multi-modal ML, and knowledge of cloud services would be an advantage. The technologies used at Altana include Python, Spark, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, Swagger/OpenAPI, ASW, Azure, Databricks, Elasticsearch, Postgres, ArangoDB, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, FAISS. This role can be remote or hybrid, and is open in the United States, UK, with options to work from hubs in New York City, Boston, Washington D.C., or London.
