Your New Role and Team
Our Machine Learning Operations team is looking to recruit a Software Co-op student. Under the guidance of the ML Operations Lead, you will acquire an all-encompassing understanding of the training, testing, deployment, and optimization of the machine learning models that enhance our general-purpose robots.
Ideal candidates for this position possess excellent software development and machine learning skills, as well as hands-on experience in model deployment and optimization. You will be a significant contributor, working towards automating and testing model training and deployment to drive continuous improvements in our robotic systems.
Our Success Criteria
- Gain advanced career experience as you construct and operate machine learning pipelines
- Broaden your engineering experience in optimizing the performance of machine learning models on embedded GPUs
- Gain visibility company-wide as you collaborate with our simulation and control teams to enable our general-purpose robots to learn new skills
- Utilize your organizational and technical skills to translate the latest machine learning research into production deployment
Your Experience
Qualifications and Skills
- Pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
- Experience with training and deploying machine learning models
- Familiarity with ML Ops platforms such as Weights & Biases or ClearML
- Understanding of robotics (ROS)
