About the Team We are an approximately 45-strong crew of engineers and digital specialists of varied disciplines and experience scattered throughout the UK and US. Our top priority is to keep our customers happy by constantly delivering our product, so we focus on achieving small, incremental enhancements to ensure the frequent delivery of high-quality software. We are staunch proponents of the principles of agile, so we operate in brief cycles and routinely contemplate our methods, implementing adjustments when necessary to refine outcomes and efficiency. Salary/Duration £500-550 p/d Outside IR35 for three months in Q4. Requirements This role is part of our Product and Engineering Team, where you'll form part of our new data team and contribute to the evolution of our new data analytics and benchmarking platform. You will have the opportunity to participate from the beginning in the development of the platform, assuming an active role in defining and establishing a new data platform. Your duties will include designing and building Python-based data pipelines able to efficiently manage complex data, managing the data infrastructure, working together with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and develop solutions that meet these requirements, maintaining CDC ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, keeping abreast with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering, as well as coaching and mentoring junior team members. We Use and Teach We use and teach Python, Meltano, Dagster and dbt for our data pipelines, Snowflake for our Data Warehouse, AWS for infrastructure, Git for managing change, Docker to package our services into containers, and Terraform to define our orchestrate our infrastructure.
