EquipmentShare is Hiring an Analytics Engineer

EquipmentShare is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our team. This position is completely remote.

What You’ll Do as an Analytics Engineer

Despite previous industrial revolutions making substantial changes, the construction industry has been largely unaffected by the computer revolution. In fact, since 1970, labour productivity in the US construction industry has actually decreased, despite it more than doubling in the rest of the economy. This has resulted in housing shortages and the deteriorating state of infrastructure in some locations, as well as hindering carbon reduction efforts.

We believe the industry is ready for change, and we’re at the forefront of this change with our next generation , the OS for Construction. Through T3, we aid contractors in coordinating people and (increasingly intelligent) machines for more effective building.

As an Analytics Engineer in our quickly expanding team, you will play a pivotal role in this venture. Specifically, you will:

  • Set up reliable pipelines and transparent table structures for a variety of metrics used by both the business analytics and data science/ML engineering sectors of the organisation
  • Work closely with the rest of the Data Science & Analytics Platform team to enable state-of-the-art algorithms, causal inference and analytics within a rapidly-paced environment, while maintaining industry best practices in terms of data access, security, traceability, etc

About You as an Analytics Engineer

Our goal is to transform an entire industry, so we only hire individuals who are motivated by this ambition and prepared for the challenge. In return, our employees have countless opportunities to develop with us, achieve personal and professional success, and contribute to a vital industry for human well-being.

  • Demonstrated understanding of modern product development techniques and methods
  • Demonstrated understanding of business analytics
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States or the United Kingdom - we are not sponsoring any candidates at this time
