What you can expect from the opportunity
Within3 is offering a career opportunity for a client-oriented data analyst with a proven record of success in a service-based consulting/support role for large business clientele. This role would suit a professional who is exceptionally organized, autonomous, and detail-driven. The Data Analyst - Disease Community Specialist (DCS) plays a crucial role in delivering value to our clients by effectively utilizing the company's people, processes, and products.
The DCS will:
- Craft deliverables to help clients better understand the disease communities they serve using sophisticated network analytics that combine scientific, medical, and social media data.
- Work proactively both internally and alongside a wider Client Success team to ensure customers gain the maximum value from our products.
- Act as a thought partner and strategic advisor to the client team and organization.
- Educate clients on life science data, the Disease Community product, and how it relates to their client requirements and disease community.
- Aid the client team in executing an efficient and effective insight process on their side that aligns with Within3 solutions.
- Participate in various data tasks such as data cleaning, processing, quality control, etc., as needed.
- Drive change by recommending process and performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- A BS in Biological Sciences, Biotech, Biomedical, Analytics, research, life sciences, healthcare, data, or other related fields or a BA/MA with substantial relevant experience.
- Minimum five years of industry relevant experience (preferably in Healthcare/Pharma/Biotech/Life Sciences).
- Prior experience handling data, including business analytics, and especially Physician, Provider, Payer, Policy-Maker, or Patient-level data.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking with an ability to see patterns.
- Proficient communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort in presenting complex, analytical findings, topics, and analyses in easy-to-understand and compelling narratives backed with appropriate data, evidence, and charts for client-ready presentations.
- Curiosity and consultative capacity with the ability to understand clients' needs and proactively offer recommendations.
- Collaborative nature, capable of working effectively across internal groups.
- Partnership mentality, effectively partnering with internal and external teams to ensure ongoing customer success.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, business intelligence tools, data visualization tools, and social listening tools.
- Detail-oriented nature with strong writing and copy editing skills for rigorous quality control.
- Ability to prioritize work between simultaneous deliverables, priorities, and clients.
Nice to Haves
- Gainsight experience (not required).
- Software as a Service (SaaS) experience.
- Knowledge of additional languages is preferred but not necessary (especially Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French).
