Job Description

We're seeking a mid-level Data Engineer to develop and maintain a Data Platform at Quandoo. This platform will support business intelligence and provide reliable data to promote data-driven decision-making at the company level.

Qualifications

Key qualifications for this role:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Knowledge of columnar databases and OLAP systems
• Willingness to learn new technologies and create solutions from scratch
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Advanced English skills
• Effective communication and team player abilities

Responsibilities: 

• Constructing reliable data pipelines
• Working with Bash and CI/CD
• Supporting various technical solutions using the GCP stack
• Building and maintaining the infrastructure of the clusters
• Mastering efficient communication and decision-making under uncertainty

Nice to have: 

• Experience with DBT, Kafka, Apache Beam
• Experience with GCP stack: GKE, GCS, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer, Dataflow
• Experience with monitoring tools and dashboard construction: Cloud Monitoring/Data Studio
• Experience with Docker, Bash, CI/CD
