Design Engineer - Water

We invite you to apply your expertise in water projects, as you will be responsible for conducting the network design for storm water, drinking water, and wastewater. You will also be tasked with checking the drawings made by the CAD technicians in your team. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the principles of drainage design for roads and airports, and a comprehensive knowledge of the design principles for drinking and wastewater. You will join our Water Department

As our new Design Engineer - Water, you will join the Water team. In addition to carrying out the network design for storm water, drinking water, and wastewater, you will also be tasked with checking the drawings made by CAD technicians in the team and ensuring the quality of the deliverables.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with the Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer, mainly focusing on delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings.
• You will liaise with your counterparts around the world while working on international projects.

Self-motivation and meet the following requirements:

1. A BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution. ME/M.Tech is preferable
2. Over 5 years of experience in drainage design, sewer design, and drinking water network design. Knowledge of design codes such as Eurocode/DMRB/AASHTO or any other international standards is desired
3. Experience in airport drainage projects is preferable
4. An understanding of the principles of drainage designs for road, airport, and rail environment
5. Experience with drainage design software (Civil 3D, StormCAD, Watergems, Sewergems, SewerCAD InRoads (Storm & Sanitary)
6. A knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/Micro Station and the ability to prepare drawings in line with internationally recognized standards
7. Besides technical knowledge, good communication skills are required
8. Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of the project

Professional English language skills (written and spoken).
