Field: Data – Digital Factory

Context: The Data Scientist Intern works in collaboration with the Data Science & AI team on high-priority topics for Accor

Your missions and responsibilities = What you will do:

• Transform large and complex datasets into practical, actionable insights.

• Develop scalable algorithms and models to answer business questions.

• You will have the opportunity to leverage the rich data of Accor and the cutting-edge machine learning infrastructure to contribute to the development of data products, machine learning, and AI.

• You will collaborate with a strong team of engineers and data scientists on how to evaluate new approaches, build features, and develop algorithms.

• You will explain sophisticated data science concepts in a clear, precise, and actionable way to decision-makers.

Qualifications

Your profile = Who You are

● M1/M2 year of studies in an engineering school/university.

● Deep knowledge of machine learning (with experiences of use on real data).

● Knowledge notably of forecasting methods (ARIMA, Prophet, RNN...), deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, etc.), recommendation systems (collaborative filtering, etc.), Generative AI.

● Mastery of Python / SQL / Shell Scripting.

● Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker is a plus.

● You have a detailed understanding of business problems and you know simply how to make complex results.

● You are comfortable in French and English.

● You are a good team player.

● You are curious, and you enjoy learning new skills and facing new challenges.

● You are well organized and proactive.

What will you be working with?

• Environment: AWS, AWS Sagemaker studio, Dataiku.

• Data warehouse: AWS S3 / Snowflake.

• Languages: Python, SQL.

• Versioning: Git.
