Spark/Scala Developer

We are seeking Scala/Spark developers to aid in the expansion of a restructured calculation engine (Scala, Spark) that will be the base for all new capital calculators, including SA-CCR and RWA. The team adheres to an Agile development methodology, focusing on behavior driven development (BDD) and DevOps practices.

As a member of a localized Agile team and a global Agile group you will get to collaborate with remote teams worldwide (colleagues, product owner, business users, etc.) utilizing technologies such as Scala and Spark, as well as Java and DB2 to build the new calculation engine and develop the new capital calculators.

Requirements

Necessary:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data processing solutions using Scala and Spark.
• Robust understanding of Functional programming and RESTful APIs
• Implementation of both batch and real-time data processing frameworks.
• Experience with DB2
• Experience in Unix Shell Scripting
