About the job

This position is crucial for driving insights and strategic decisions that result in measurable growth across Twilio websites and core products. You will be responsible for analytics of our global websites to provide detailed insight into the behavior and interests of web visitors, prospects, and customers worldwide. You will develop and implement a robust web measurement framework while managing our GA4 implementation to ensure stakeholders can continuously track the impact of their launches, optimizations, A/B tests, personalized experiences, and design decisions. You will be part of a highly visible Strategy & Analytics team that serves as a trusted advisor to leadership for measurement, forensic analysis, and insights across the entire customer journey. Collaborate with a diverse team in the areas of Web, Marketing, Product, Growth Engineering, Corporate Communications, and Sales to implement end-to-end web analytics solutions that have a direct impact on Twilio’s growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design and implement a robust web measurement framework across Twilio’s global websites
  • Monitor and analyze website performance to ensure everything is functioning as intended
  • Lead and manage our global Google Analytics 4 implementation
  • Develop scalable, uniform data collection mechanisms through tag management platforms in collaboration with Web Engineering
  • Generate insights and opportunities based on data to improve the sites' performance and user experience
  • Create dashboards, reports, and forecasts to help stakeholders understand historical and projected website performance
  • Monitor our website's health and communicate storylines weekly to leadership
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop a robust web analytics ecosystem enabling stakeholders to utilize web data based on your documentation, training, video guides, office hours, and more

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, marketing, business, or another quantitative field
  • Deep technical proficiency pertaining to web analytics architecture, data collection, and advanced analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor, assess, and harness large volumes of data to inform data-driven strategies
  • Ability to articulate complex technical details into comprehensible concepts for stakeholders and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in monitoring and interpreting key performance in relation to website traffic, engagement, user experience, and conversions
  • Familiarity with the implementation and management of Google Analytics
  • Experience working as an analytics partner to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired:

  • Deep familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and CDPs
  • Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, and Data Studio
  • Familiarity with optimization tools like Adobe Target, Google Optimize, and Optimizely
  • Aptitude to oversee and guide A/B testing methodologies for accurate measurement
  • Proven ability to collaborate with leadership across marketing, analytics, and business stakeholders

Location

This role will be remote in the United States. Approximately 5% travel is expected.

The projected salary ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $132,320 - $165,400.

  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $140,080 - $175,100.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California: $155,600 - $194,500.

  • This role may qualify for participation in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The starting salary of the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and location.
