Senior Data Scientist Opportunity

As a Senior Data Scientist at CHG, you will be integral to crafting and implementing data science strategies and projects. You will lead a team of data scientists to tackle complex data challenges and deliver actionable insights that bolster our business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Conduct extensive data analysis to unearth trends, patterns, and insights from sizable and intricate datasets.
• Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and statistical models to address business problems and enhance decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering their professional development.
• Data Preprocessing: Oversee data preprocessing and cleaning tasks to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Feature Engineering: Work alongside data engineers to generate and fine-tune features for predictive models.
• Model Evaluation: Set evaluation metrics, rigorously assess models, and iterate as necessary.
• Communication: Effectively present insights to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product management teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our products and services.
• Experimentation: Design and analyze experiments to test hypotheses and measure initiative impact.
• Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data privacy, security regulations, and best practices.
• Research: Stay current with the latest in data science and machine learning to foster innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Proficient in programming languages like Python or R.
• Skilled in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model development.
• Experienced with data visualization tools and libraries.
• Exemplary leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms is advantageous.

We prioritize equitable compensation for all employees, which is why our pay structure accounts for labor costs across U.S. geographic markets. For this role, we offer a pay range of $81,400 to $247,200 per year, with variations based on work location and job-related factors like knowledge, position level, and experience. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process.

CHG Healthcare offers competitive starting salaries, including a mix of base pay, commissions, and bonuses for sales positions, and base salary plus short-term incentives for non-sales roles. Incentives may be provided monthly, quarterly, or annually.
