About the Next Generation Graduates Program

The Next Generation Graduates Program funds national scholarships to attract and train future experts in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This initiative aims to address high-end talent shortages in Australia under two streams – Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies.

The Program collaborates with universities and industry to co-fund scholarships for Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Levels 8 (Honours) to 10 (Doctoral), employing a work-integrated learning approach. Students engage in industry-led research projects and/or placements to build job-ready skills while completing a formal qualification relevant to AI.
