At JPMorgan Chase & Co., a leader in global financial services, we are seeking a highly skilled Performance Analytics Lead Data Scientist to enhance our Data Analytics and Reporting (DART) team. This role is pivotal in transforming employee engagement and performance analytics within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Performance Excellence program.

Key Role Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Analyze platform features and capabilities to identify valuable engagement and performance patterns.
  • Develop and manage robust data assets to bolster analytics and reporting processes.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to evaluate employee engagement and performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create and implement analytics models to monitor key engagement and performance metrics continually.
  • Work closely with leadership and Performance Excellence stakeholders to establish impactful metrics and KPIs.
  • Lead A/B testing and other experiments to enhance platform strategies and activities.
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders to foster platform adoption and enhance productivity.
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights through modern visualization and storytelling techniques.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and over six years of experience in a quantitative or closely related field.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, Python, SQL, and R.
  • A strong grasp of statistical methods, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, and text mining.
  • Exceptional story-telling and data visualization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with HR and call center analytics, particularly related to employee engagement and performance.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and gamification strategies.

Schedule and Location

This is a hybrid role based in our office, requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote work each week. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
