Job Title: Power BI Support Engineer

Location: Calgary, Canada

Job Description:

The Power BI Support Engineer delivers technical support by resolving escalated, complex issues on the Power BI Platform and meeting CPE and workflow efficiency targets. Responsibilities include identifying necessary tools, cloud access, training, and processes for assessing customer issues. The role involves close collaboration with PG engineering, operations, and other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve escalated technical issues for Power BI customers
  • Keep escalations to PG operations below 10% of the volume
  • Collaborate with PG engineering, operations, and other engineers

Required Skills:

  • SQL Developer experience (1+ years) with expertise in BI reporting tools (preferably Power BI)
  • Strong communication skills with end customers
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in ambiguous environments
  • Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating technical errors and solutions
  • Prior experience in a technical support role is preferred

Work Schedule: This role operates on a 24x7 flexible shift model.
