AI Software Engineer III

Job Overview:

We are in search of an experienced AI Software Engineer to join our vibrant team at Selectquote. As an AI Software Engineer, you will play a significant role in developing advanced artificial intelligence solutions and contributing to the enhancement of our AI capabilities. You will work in close collaboration with a skilled team of engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and implement AI-driven software applications. This opportunity allows you to work on novel projects and have substantial impact in the AI field.

Supervision Duties:

This role does not involve any direct supervisory responsibilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and/or apply AI algorithms and models to solve intricate problems across diverse domains.
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize software applications utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Carry out research and keep pace with the latest advancements in AI technologies.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure high-quality and reliable AI solutions.
• Enhance AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Cooperate with software engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing software systems.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to maintain code quality and guarantee robustness of AI systems.
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and other relevant documentation.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in AI software engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong proficiency in programming languages and environments like JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
• Sound understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning algorithms, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and libraries.
• Experience with the development and deployment of AI models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
