What You'll Do

As an Analytics Engineer at Lambda, you will:

• Utilize your sharp business insight to handle diverse challenges across strategy, supply chain, sales, and more.
• Drive crucial projects such as feature rollouts, fundraising, and strategic launches using your expert data analysis.
• Work closely with engineering teams to refine data schemas and optimize data architecture.
• Analyze trends and hypothesize during monthly business reviews.
• Engage in high-level tasks ranging from data pipeline construction to data transformation and model maintenance.
• Develop tools and processes for automated data quality checks, ensuring reliability and accessibility of information.
• Apply your Python skills to create scripts enhancing business operations, with opportunities to delve into machine learning for advanced predictive analytics.

About You

Ideal candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline with at least 2 years of experience in data analytics or engineering roles.
• A strong grasp of SQL and Python, ability to lead data-oriented projects, and excellent communication skills for interacting with all business levels.
• A proactive attitude towards manual data tasks and architecture work, contributing significantly beyond just modeling or reporting.
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing, with additional familiarity in data visualization and ideally some exposure to machine learning concepts.

Nice to Have

• An advanced degree in a quantitative field and familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools and knowledge in deploying automated scripts in cloud environments.

Salary and Perks

The salary for the Analytics Engineer role ranges from $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with potential for negotiation based on additional expertise.
