About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic Associate in Data Science to lead end-to-end data science projects focused on Machine Learning. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to develop and implement models aimed at offering actionable deliverables including APIs, lead signals, self-service dashboards, and data pipelines.

Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to design forward-looking components from client data combined with capital markets datasets for strategic business planning. Exercise independent judgment to construct data pipelines and solutions aligned with our business needs and objectives.

Your deep understanding of client and product landscapes will establish you as a subject matter expert and key liaison to stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll work with Engineering and Product teams to deploy models and insights in production applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead machine learning-focused data science projects from inception to production.
• Develop, explain, and deploy models to provide actionable solutions like APIs and dashboards.
• Consistently align data solutions with business needs and strategic goals.
• Act as a subject matter expert, bridging communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to implement insights into production applications.
• Participate actively in team operations including stand-ups, brainstorming sessions, code reviews, and demos.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in roles such as Associate, Analyst, or Summer Analyst.
• Proficiency in mathematical and statistical model development, NLP techniques, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience in experimental design, including A/B testing, and statistical methods.
• Experience using the Hadoop stack (HIVE, Pig, Hadoop Streaming) and Spark.

Salary and Benefits

For New York City only, the salary range for this position is $150,500 - $152,500. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including health care, leave benefits, and retirement plans.
