Job Description

- Handle all master data related requests and queries across business functions
- Perform validation and entry of master data as determined in the standard operating procedures
- Perform data cleansing activities to ensure maintained master data is current
- Identify any data related problems or control gaps in the processes and report the same to the MDM lead/manager
- Support functional teams with ad-hoc and periodic reporting requirements related to master data
- Ensure master data consistency in all systems to facilitate ease in data remediation and integration initiatives
- Participate in continual improvement initiatives and automation projects intended for process enhancement
- Collaborate closely with vendors to clarify reasons for rejections and provide solutions
- Adherence to our Business Code of Conduct, always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Grasping business needs and comprehensive understanding of Tesco processes
- Expanding on Tesco processes familiarities by applying CI tools and techniques
- Accountable for completing tasks and transactions within the approved metrics
- Problem resolution by analyzing solution alternatives

Qualifications

The colleague's role entails ensuring the timely availability of master data for operational use. They also take part in continual improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and service delivery.

Data Management - Understanding Financial Processing - Understanding Basic MS Office - Attention to Detail - Basic Numeracy Skills - Speed and Accuracy - Planning and Organizing

Professional Attributes: - Experience working with ticketing tools (preferred) - Proficiency in working with any ERP (Oracle system is a plus) - Experience working with large data sets - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work with diversified teams - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
