Job Description

The Data Analyst will be actively involved in preparing and analyzing reports necessary for Health Plan Audits across various product lines including Commercial, Senior, and Medical which impact 10 Health Plans. Your meticulous reports will support internal departmental needs, fulfilling key business requirements. This role demands proactive collaboration within the SJHH NSS and Care Integration including Claims, Auditing, and Utilization Management among others.

You will also manage regular external and internal reporting deliveries, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance standards. Key reporting areas include Claims Inventory, Medicare Interest Rate, Monthly NSS, and more, involving crucial data management and precise communication to maintain operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with 2 years relevant experience in field directly related to reporting and data analysis
  • 1 year of experience compiling reports in a Healthcare related business, preferably in a health plan environment
  • 1 year of experience supporting users with reporting requirements
  • 1 year of audit and compliance experience
  • Recent experience working with Claims and Utilization Management related data
  • Experience with HIPAA Regulation and California State Law

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years' experience in roles mentioned in required qualifications
  • Experience in Medicare, Medical or Commercial healthcare environments
