Business Intelligence and C# Developer

Responsible for generating new and existing reports. Developing or amending programs and assisting the IT Manager and relevant external and internal stakeholders in analyzing data and creating IT solutions to support business growth.

• Identify and scope opportunities for improvement/innovation
• Deliver client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with line manager
• Extensively test new and regularly test existing solutions to ensure the quality and accuracy of BI delivered
• Have quality checks and processes in place for all reporting / cross check with other sources to ensure accuracy to limit any customer impact
• Ensure that new projects stay on track and customers are kept informed about progress at any stage while ensuring not to deviate from the initial project scope
• Manage change control, error and incident involving/affecting Cognition
• Automate and deliver all static reports within SLA
• Continuously improve processes to ensure efficient delivery of any and all analytics solutions
• Provide insights and analysis derived from dashboards / reports and data
• Offer insights and training on analytics solutions to external and internal stakeholders
• Ensure that business stays operational with no business downtime by making sure that all processes run.

Education / Professional Certification

• Degree\Diploma in IT

Experience

• 3- 5 years as a developer

• Experience with CRM, service desk, product owners, Finance department, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) 2016 and above

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2016,

•  Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports     

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (C#, VB)

• Experience with ERP systems

• Must have a “can do” attitude and be a positive person who motivates his\her teammates

• Must be able to program using C# as well as design and develop solutions using the Microsoft BI stack
