As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Ring AI Data Management, you will assist the team in creating insights, dashboards, and reports that aid leadership in making better decisions in automating business processes and managing workforce performance. Primarily, you will be responsible for thoroughly analyzing data regarding employee efficiency when utilizing internal tools and also suggesting improvements for workforce capacity planning. You will develop self-service dashboards and work closely with data engineers in automating reporting. Key Job Responsibilities - Utilize data to provide insights to Ring AI Data Management leaders, including detailed business analysis, identifying problems, opportunities, and solution recommendations. - Compose compelling narratives to share data stories with stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions and future plans. - Supply data for weekly and monthly business reviews, which includes metrics for business process optimization, workforce performance, and capacity planning recommendations. - Proactively define new metrics, reports, and dashboards. - Develop self-service dashboards using Tableau, Quicksight. - Investigate available data sources to understand business processes and enhance analytics events logging. - Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to design, execute and maintain reporting modules, take the lead in automating recurring reports. About the Team The Ring AI Data Management team is responsible for tools and services for Ring's growing machine learning-based Research & Development needs. The portfolio of services managed by the team includes centralized R&D data ingestion, aggregation, and building standardized data models for performance management. We work in teams committed to customer needs. We favor swift data-driven decision-making. Hiring Locations We are open to hiring candidates to work in one of the following locations: Gdansk, Poland. Warsaw, Poland. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in analyzing and interpreting data with relational databases. - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. - Experience with writing complex SQL queries. - Experience in statistical and root cause analysis techniques. - Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and designing ETL pipelines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in workforce performance management or business process automation analysis or system analysis would be a plus. Experience in using Python scripting to process data for modeling. Experience in data mining in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets. Experience with AWS, including Redshift, S3, RDS, Athena. Proficiency in handling big data volumes, advanced SQL writing and query performance tuning skills.
