About You

Your Duties

As our new Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting RepRisk's capability of providing invaluable data and perceptions to organizations aiming to encourage responsible business behaviour and offset ESG risk. You will interact with both proprietary and third-party databases and guide decision making and business insights through your analysis. You'll be part of our Innovation Hub department, reporting to the Vice President, Innovation Hub, located in Zurich, Switzerland. More precisely, you will:

• Gather, assess, and interpret ESG-associated data from various origins throughout the data pipeline (from upstream raw data, machine learning-enriched data, and downstream customer-facing data)
• Contribute to RepRisk’s data cognition and governance, guaranteeing data precision, relevancy, and trustworthiness
• Use reports and visualizations to translate complex ESG and business information data into actionable insights for clients and prospects, guiding their sustainable decision-making procedures
• Stay informed about industry developments and research new 3rd party databases to inform potential data integration
• Cooperate with clients to comprehend their specific data requirements and provide expert guidance to help them meet their business objectives
• Contribute to the creation of new data management methods, tools, and technologies to enhance our ESG data offerings
• Back RepRisk's status as a leading ESG service provider by preserving our high service quality standards

Qualifications

You Offer

• A bachelor's degree in a related field (like Data Science, Mathematics, Finance)
• High-level skills in data analysis and visualization
• Knowledge of ESG concepts and data sources
• Experience with SQL databases
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis reasons (no software development skills needed)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complicated data into clear, understandable form
• A detail-focussed approach with a solid commitment to data accuracy and quality
• Passion about environmental and social responsibility and dedication to making a positive change
• Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI or similar
• Analytical and structured thinking, orderliness, solution-driven, and efficiency in execution
• Strong communication prowess with proficiency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
