Role Overview: Data Analyst - Attribute Enrichment Team

As a Data Analyst on the Attribute Enrichment team, you will harness big data to enhance product attributes and elevate customer experiences through insightful analyses and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include decoding user behavior, optimizing data delivery pipelines, and providing actionable insights to merchandisers.

Working closely with ML engineers, you'll help refine algorithms aimed at optimizing key performance metrics. Your analytical skills and collaborative efforts will directly influence the quality and effectiveness of our solutions, driving customer satisfaction and engagement. This role is crucial in making data-driven decisions and ensuring our products excel in performance.

Key Challenges You Will Tackle

• Perform data exploration on ecommerce traffic to understand user behavior and suggest improvements for Attribute Enrichment solutions, implementing pipelines for data delivery.
• Formulate hypotheses and select appropriate metrics for A/B testing to gather insights and make data-driven decisions.
• Deliver analytical insights to merchandisers to facilitate effective decision-making and optimal evaluation results.
• Conduct website analysis for potential new customers to identify opportunities for the Attribute Enrichment team.
• Evaluate current customers' catalogs to identify and rectify inaccuracies and redundancies in annotations.
• Assist the Customer Success team in communicating with merchandisers, meeting their integration needs, and providing optimal online metrics results.
• Collaborate with the Customer Integrations team to ensure bug-free integrations with thorough tracking to power data pipelines and models.

Requirements

• Proficient in BI tools for data analysis and building dashboards for both technical and non-technical users.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa.
• Passionate about leveraging vast amounts of data for product innovation and delivering business value.
• Familiar with mathematics and statistics, particularly A/B testing.
• Proficient in SQL (any variant) and adept at exploratory data analysis using Python (pandas, numpy, data visualization libraries).
• Experience with big data stacks (Spark, Presto/Athena, Hive) is a significant plus.
• Skilled at quick prototyping and providing analytical support for ecommerce initiatives, focusing on relevant features and metrics.
• Committed to developing and maintaining effective communication tools to report business performance and inform cross-functional decision-making.
