Company: Guy Carpenter Description: Data Analyst – Aviation Reinsurance This role is a position within the Aviation team for Guy Carpenter, where you will be expected to work across a wide range of projects. You will focus on the analysis of large data sets and on applying these insights to support our brokers and reinsurance markets. This is a great opportunity to work closely with actuaries and brokers across the team, and the position has pathways into brooking or data analysis to advance your career. What can you expect? We will rely on you to: Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and work with different teams to interrogate and validate the underlying data. Maintain and improve current PowerBI placement dashboards and tools and deliver the design and execution of new data-led solutions. Provide analytical support and input to the business. Have a problem-solving mindset and willingness to work across a wide range of internal and external projects. Bring your analytical skills to these projects, clearly articulating and presenting your thoughts to stakeholders and other interested parties. What you need to have: Degree or equivalent in subjects such as Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent. Strong numeracy and Excel skills; comfortable manipulating and analysing large and complex data sets. Excellent communication skills with an appetite to build relationships and engage with stakeholders across Guy Carpenter and externally. A problem-solving mindset.
