What You Will Do

As a Data Analyst Consultant, you will provide cutting-edge data visualization, analysis, and process improvement support to a major program acquisition office within an IC Agency. You will leverage your expertise to support the customer with data analysis of corporate datasets, developing tools, processes, and dashboards that streamline program execution and enhance monitoring of cost, schedule, and performance.

Utilizing Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, you will conduct in-depth analyses and present conclusions in a manner that supports strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements for processes and visualizations, executing accordingly, and communicating mission and program office information in a unified enterprise manner.

Additionally, you will optimize data processes using digital engineering tools, including Jira, and identify opportunities to leverage enterprise data services and dashboards.

Requirements

• Active and current Top Secret/SCI federal security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
• Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant work experience supporting local, state, or federal customers
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with Tableau/Tableau Server for creating data visualizations
• Proficiency in handling complex datasets, calculating metrics, identifying trends, and communicating results

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to create data visualizations in Tableau based on customer requirements using Agile methods and tools (e.g., Jira, backlog, iterative reviews, user stories)
• Proven ability to engage and brief leadership on data, metrics, processes, and goals, and to recommend solutions
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Some experience or familiarity with extracting, aggregating, and processing data using programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R
• Advanced experience in analyzing large datasets using data science techniques (e.g., regression analysis, data mining)
• Experience with open-source tools for collaboration and code storage (e.g., Gitlab)
• Experience with Jira/Atlassian tools
• Familiarity with IC/DoD domain and intelligence products
