As part of our team, you will lead analytics to assess lending book risk, shape strategy decisions, and ensure robust monitoring processes. You’ll also support the establishment of a governance framework for risk management that aligns with business objectives and provide credit risk expertise for cross-functional projects.
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to offer clear insights into lending statuses and work closely with data science teams to boost credit monitoring and analysis. Engage with credit scoring infrastructure, tailoring eligibility criteria and enhancing credit scoring models.
Engage in diverse, fast-paced projects to learn and institute impactful changes. Your daily tasks will include problem discovery, data analysis, and crafting solutions for risk strategy enhancements. This role demands close collaboration with Credit Analysts, Data Scientists, team leaders, and senior stakeholders across various business units.
The Portfolio Risk Team is pivotal to iwoca's success, developing our monitoring systems to maintain desired risk levels, enhance the use of risk scores, and facilitate new product initiatives.
Essential: Strong numerate background (Maths, Physics, Statistics, CS, etc.), exceptional data analysis skills, team-oriented with excellent English communication abilities.
Desirable: Curiosity in problem-solving, SQL/Python proficiency, experience with Data Visualisation tools (e.g., Looker), and background in B2B/B2C credit risk lending & strategy.
