Role Overview

As a Fintech Data Analyst, you will integrate into our expansive end-to-end Fintech Data Team. Here, your innovations and creative solutions will shape the future of risk management, fraud detection, and payment systems at FREE NOW. Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and fellow Analysts to use data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Lead in-depth analysis, discern key risks, and offer actionable insights for the Fintech and Data teams.
• Data Visualisation: Create insightful dashboards to illustrate various performance measures and trends using advanced visualization tools.
• Testing/Validation: Work alongside the tech teams to spearhead testing strategies that guarantee precision and reliability in our financial models and data processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage robustly with both internal and external stakeholders to align with project goals and ensure clear communication of data-driven insights.

Who You Are

You are a vigilant, detail-oriented problem solver who flourishes in dynamic, fast-paced settings. Your ability to mix technical prowess, product insight, business acumen, and leadership initiatives sets you apart. Ideal candidates will have:

• A degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, alongside substantial experience with statistical software like R or Python.
• Familiarity with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview, Looker).
• Proficiency in Business English and excellent analytical capabilities.
• An understanding of Data Science models and Data Engineering pipelines is beneficial but not required.
