Seeking: Data Analyst II

Aurora hires talented individuals from diverse backgrounds who are driven to enhance our transportation ecosystem. We're looking for a dedicated Data Analyst II to support our mission of making roads safer and improving the efficiency of mobility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the core Test Triage team and other autonomy and software engineering groups
  • Gather and perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) from various internal systems to identify patterns, trends, and insights
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as MODE BI or QuickSight
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders clearly and concisely
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and triage analysts
  • Understand the workings of Aurora’s autonomous vehicles and triage workflows to define, create, and maintain automation, tooling, and workflows

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools like MODE BI or QuickSight
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy

Desirable Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools
  • Experience in a relevant industry
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $83,000-$125,000 per year, determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits that include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, medical transportation reimbursement, fertility, adoption, and surrogacy benefits.
