About the BounceBack Internship Program

As an intern, you will engage with challenges such as predicting customer behaviors, optimizing store operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction—all crucial for strategic decision-making at Target.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer buying patterns and sales outcomes.
• Assess operational factors to foresee customer retention.
• Evaluate the impact of customer satisfaction on financial outcomes.
• Optimize physical store layouts to reduce customer wait times.
• Forecast necessary adjustments in store capacity for peak seasons.
• Improve workload management to streamline store operations.

Who Should Apply?

Ideal candidates are women with over 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst role and are currently taking a break from their professional careers (minimum 2 years). You should hold a B.Tech / B.E. or a Masters in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a similar field. Essential technical skills include:

• Proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL
• Experience with big data tools and technologies
• Knowledge of R, Python, Hive, or other open-source languages
• Understanding of foundational mathematics and statistics
• Familiarity with analytical techniques like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Time-series models, and Classification Techniques

Strong communication skills are a must, as you'll be explaining complex analytical methodologies to team members who may not possess a technical background. Any prior experience in retail, merchandising, or marketing will be considered a significant advantage.
