Job Purpose:

Reporting to our Director of Strategic Business Operations, the Data Analyst plays a critical role in our organization by managing primary and secondary research along with data acquisition. This includes collaborating on patient and practice data initiatives to enhance insights, optimize processes, and track performance metrics across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data related to Finance, Operations, and Commercial sectors.
• Develop and update process maps for analytic products.
• Handle EMR data extraction protocols, including coordination with third-party vendors.
• Administer and safeguard Profound’s data assets.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to gauge organizational success.
• Translate business needs into functional data requirements and assist in developing analytics dashboards.
• Work with the Commercial team on Sponsor study feasibility assessments.
• Participate in project calls and effectively respond to customer queries.
• Support Strategy & Operations team as required.
• Undertake additional tasks as needed to support team objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in manipulating complex data sets using tools like SQL, SAS, R, Looker, Sigma, Python, or similar.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently on projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years experience in research or analytical roles.
• Prior experience interacting with C-Suite/Executives based on data analysis findings.
• Background in Clinical Research or Healthcare industry preferred.
• Knowledge of data warehouse or ETL processes.

Travel and Physical Requirements:

• Minimal travel, not to exceed 15%.
• Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use; may occasionally require lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must possess good visual acuity and ability to deal with data and figures effectively.
