Your Role in Shaping the Future

As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll undertake the key responsibilities of both a Data Engineer and an Analytics Engineer. You will design, develop, and maintain our advanced BI Data Platform, crucial for centralizing and converting diverse business data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets. This role grants the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with the Director of Business Intelligence to strategically enhance ANYbotics' data and BI infrastructure. Your contributions will optimize business decisions and enable stakeholders to gain deeper insights into their operations and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive BI Data Platform, integrating essential source data.
• Collaborate with business units and tool owners to understand data generation processes.
• Convert raw business data into validated, analytics-ready datasets.
• Design and implement robust data models and pipelines, and execute SQL queries to create clean, tested, and well-documented data marts.
• Guide technical strategies for optimal data extraction, storage, transformation, and scheduling across various business scenarios and data sources.
• Implement and uphold data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and quality.

Who We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of proven experience in data engineering or analytics. You should possess expertise in SQL, familiarity with dbt, and robust experience with implementing ETL/ELT processes. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift and ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran or Tray are essential. Experience with APIs and a proactive, engaging personality capable of effective cross-functional collaboration are also crucial. Familiarity with the modern data stack tools, cloud platforms like AWS, and software engineering best practices in analytics will greatly strengthen your candidacy.
