About the Team:

The CrowdStrike Technical Operation Data Analytics team is expanding its application development team. We specialize in solving elusive problems and consist of a hybrid team of scientists, developers, and analysts. We directly support CrowdStrike leadership with custom and off-the-shelf applications. Engage in advanced technology projects such as data science, data engineering, graph neural networks, natural language processing, and optimization while enhancing our ability to protect diverse customers globally.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to support analytical and business needs.
• Translate business problem statements into analysis requirements.
• Use analytical and statistical rigor to answer business questions and drive team consensus.
• Collaborate to measure customer experience and drive business outcomes.
• Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting.
• Create efficient queries and have in-depth knowledge of available data.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, design, validation, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot operational data-quality issues.
• Review and audit existing ETL jobs and queries, recommending improvements for accuracy and simplicity.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in the data/BI space
• Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau, QuickSight, etc.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate data and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, or related field
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud query services (Athena, BigQuery, Lambda)
• Experience with business intelligence reporting tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages (R or Python) for data manipulation and computations
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Compensation:

Salary range in the U.S.: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, including variable/incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
