Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer who will report to the Senior Manager of Data Analytics. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced data analytics solutions to support RxSight’s Manufacturing, Operations, and continuous process improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, and Databricks, to efficiently manage data workflows and pipelines. Proficiency in MS Fabric, SQL, Python, and Power BI is essential for developing optimized reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Management and Storage:

• Maintain and optimize data storage solutions, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
• Implement and manage Azure Storage Accounts, configuring and securing data storage in alignment with best practices and business requirements.

ETL Operations:

• Utilize Azure Data Factory to design, implement, and maintain robust ETL pipelines that support efficient data integration and transformation processes.
• Leverage Databricks for complex data processing tasks, ensuring scalability and performance of data analytics operations.

Data Reporting and Visualization:

• Develop optimized Power BI reports and dashboards by integrating various data sources, ensuring high performance and user accessibility.
• Apply advanced data modeling techniques in Power BI to enhance report functionality and interactivity, catering to diverse business needs.

Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:

• Work closely with both internal stakeholders and external clients to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure the seamless implementation and adoption of BI solutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Technical Expertise:

• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, and Databricks.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Expertise in creating and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and optimization.

Communication Skills:

• Exceptional communication abilities to effectively convey data insights and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education, Experience, and Training:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, particularly in a cloud-based environment.

Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system.

Mandatory training on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conduct and Ethics must be completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis.
